Perth Cardio in the Media

Monday, February 01, 2021

Following yesterday’s announcement of a five day lockdown in Perth (until 6pm on Friday 5th February), we have made some changes to our business. All patients are required to wear a face mask at all times and will be required to record their attendance via the Safe WA app, or the manual attendance log that is located at the reception desk at each of our locations.

The majority of our tests will continue to be provided in our rooms, however we have made the decision to suspend stress testing for this week. Any patients who have a stress test booked during this time will be contacted to reschedule the test.

Consults with our cardiologists will continue, however if the consult will be conducted via telehealth (rather than face to face in one of our rooms), one of our administration staff will contact you to advise you of the details.

As per the Government directive, Cat 2 (non-urgent) and Cat 3 procedures will be rescheduled. If you are booked for a procedure in our cath lab this week you will be contacted to advise a new time for the procedure.

Aside from these changes we remain open to care for our patients and continue to accept referrals as per usual.

We thank you for your understanding and continued support to keep Western Australians safe. If you have any concerns at all, or require additional support, please reach out to our Practice Manager on 6314 6833.
